Track & Field

What a fantastic day we had today for our first "Track & Field" day.  We had water sponge races, gunny sack races and tug of war.  PTO provided a popsicle treat for the students as they watched and cheered on other class's as they completed.  After that we got into our friendship groups, enjoyed a sack lunch outside, played some games and painted a popsicle stick that we will arrange into a "quilt" pattern.  We had a very fun day.  Here is a video Mr. Slabaugh made…  

Dinosaur Morning

Happy Friday!!!!  The lady from the Imagination Station that was suppose to come and talk about Dinosaurs fell ill and wasn't able to come.  She did however, bring down her artifacts and books so we did the best we could.  (all I know about dinosaurs is that they were big and are all dead!!!)  

In this picture we stood in half the circle and imagined that this could have been the size of the T Rex mouth and that he could eat us all in one bite!

Fun at the Children's Museum

What a great day we had together at the IC park playing and then at the Children's Museum exploring.  The kids all did a wonderful job working together.   Thanks again to the volunteers who came along to help out.

The dad's had just as much fun :)  Couldn't keep their airplanes from crashing! 

To top it off we all enjoyed a ride on the carousel.
