Happy Valentines Day!!!!

An exciting week in KA ~

In this activity the kids were given a piece of paper and they were to to paint over the hearts.  As they painted they saw that there were letters that magically appeared.  The conversations that were happening during this discovery were so cute!  They soon discovered they each had 2 tricky words on their paper.

On Wednesday we had Pam Hotz come and read us a story, then we made bird feeders for our feathered friends.

In math we took advantage of the Valentine season and used candy hearts for several math lessons.  We used them to measure the lengths of pictures/objects, added them together and graphed them.

Then it was finally time for our Valentine party.  I love how Haley is matching her Valentine to the name on the bag.

There were some amazing Valentines.  Thanks so much for taking the time to make this special for your children.

To finish off the day we played musical hearts. Congrats to Tabitha for being the last KA friend standing!  Thanks to everyone for the wonderful Valentine gifts and supplies for the parties. We had a fantastic week!
