Valentines Day

What a super fun day we had today.  First we spent some time following directions to make our monster bags.

Later in the afternoon we enjoyed some treats and juice.  Thanks so much to everyone who provided!

We also delivered our valentines and then had fun opening them up from our friends. 

Ended the day with a game of musical hearts.

What fun!!!  We painted with watercolor paints to reveal a tricky word.  Everyone's word was different.

Foster Woods

Here are a few pictures and videos from our trip to Foster Woods a few weeks ago.  We talked about animals that hibernate and migrate.  We went on a hike looking for footprints and homes, then played some games.  This one is called "Don't wake the bear".

When we came back to school we enjoyed some hot chocolate.

Thanks for providing Valentines to mail.  We had a great trip to the Post Office and even got to "cancel" our stamps.

 Today for math we used candy hearts to do some measuring and graphing.

A few weeks ago we had a snowball fight in the gym as a reward for being respectful, responsible and safe.  The kids had a blast!
