Today we cut open our pumpkin after reading a story called, "How many seeds in a pumpkin?" We all made a guess, or our big word was "estimate" of how many we thought were inside.
Then we all got a chance to dig in and pull out what we could grab. Their faces were priceless!
Next, we worked together to put the seeds in groups of TEN to count easier. We ended up having 568 seeds in the pumpkin. Kaleb was the closest. Thank you to Harlee for the pumpkin! We had a great, hands on math lesson!
