Penguin Day

Penguin Day!!!!
We had a fun week learning about penguins and our fun new word "regurgitate!!!"
Although the penguin snack was a little frustrating (the Oreo's broke pretty easy and crumbled) the kids did a great job and they turned out really cute.

Yesterday Pam came and read us a story, then we made birdfeeders.  Hopefully you found them in your child's backpack :)

Day 100, Post Office and Valentine Bags

I didn't get a lot of pictures from Day 100 ~ but we had a fun filled day!  Here we are counting out groups of 10 to make out trail mix.

We enjoyed our walk and tour of the post office.  Molly took us behind the counter and showed us where the mail is sorted.  We also got to watch a mailman load up his car with all the mail.

Miss Wendy's finger kind of got in the way :)

Here are our cute Valentine bags!!!

Pinata Fun

Ahhhhh, I haven't been very good with the camera lately.  I did get some pictures of our fun time busting up the pinata we made.  The kids had so much fun and I heard "This is the best day ever" a few times :)

Herbert Hoover Museum

By now you have probably heard about our little friend, Chippy the Elf.  We are always so excited to come to school and see where he has decided to watch us from.  Monday he got into the frosting and sprinkles.  :)

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Herbert Hoover Museum in West Branch enjoying their "Cowboys" Christmas theme.  We listened to a story, decorated a snowman to look like a cowboy, enjoyed some wonderfully decorated Christmas trees and watched a movie.  Hopefully your children had a great time and were able to share with you some highlights.
