Day 100

We enjoyed some yummy cake ball treats for Nora's star of the week treats.

Day 100 collections...  We counted out our items in groups of 10's, then took a walk around the room to tour and see what everyone brought.

Here we made a trail mix.  Thank you so much for providing the treats.  The kids did a great job of passing around the bowls with the goodies in them and putting groups of ten on their paper.

What a fun Day 100 we had!!!!

Foster Woods/Penguins

We had some wonderful weather for our trip to Foster Woods. We played a couple games and went on a hike.  We even got to go off trail, which was an amazing adventure :)

Getting ready to play our games.  We were butterflies trying to migrate to Mexico where it is warmer.  We had some obstacles though, like storms and a child with a net.

When we got back we were greeted with some nice, warm hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Penguin Day

To conclude our penguin day on Friday, we all dressed like penguins, wore a penguin headband and waddled around the school. 

We did a math activity in which we had 12 goldfish, rolled 2 dice and counted to see if we could evenly split it between to friends.

To top off our day, we enjoy a special treat from Drake's mom, Amber.

Here we are practicing using chopsticks in Chinese.  They did really well with it!
